Terms of Use
These are the terms for using the Solse website (solse.ai) and joining its waitlist. They’re short and in plain English. By using the site or joining the waitlist, you agree to them. Mona and Luce themselves will have their own terms, which you’ll see before you pay for anything.
Who we are
Solse is run by its founder, an individual who lives in India, using Solse as a trade name. “We” and “us” on this page mean that person. There is no company yet. When one is registered, we may move these terms and the waitlist to it, and this page will say so.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older, and you must be joining for a business: your own brand, or one you work for. If you join for a business, you confirm you’re allowed to act for it, and these terms apply to it as well as to you.
The waitlist
- It’s free. Joining doesn’t oblige you to buy anything, and it doesn’t oblige us to offer you anything.
- An invite isn’t guaranteed, and we don’t promise a date. We invite in batches, mostly in order of position (see below), but we may invite some brands earlier or later, for example because an early version of Mona or Luce suits only certain kinds of products.
- One entry per person and per email address. We may remove entries that look fake, automated or duplicated, or that break these terms.
- You can leave at any time: ask us to delete your details through the contact form.
Founding prices
The site says “the price you see is the price you keep”. This is exactly what that means.
- What it is
- A plan’s founding price is the price shown for it on this site on the day you joined the waitlist, for monthly or for quarterly billing.
- How to get it
- Start a paid subscription within 30 days of the date we send your invite.
- How long it lasts
- For as long as that subscription stays active without a gap, at the billing period you choose. It ends if you cancel, or if the subscription lapses (for example, a renewal payment that stays unpaid). If you come back later, the price on offer then applies.
- Changing plan
- If you move to another plan that was shown when you joined, you pay that plan’s founding price from the day you joined. Plans added later are at their own price.
- If we change plans before launch
- We may change plans, prices and allowances before launch. A change applies only to people who join after it, and never raises the founding price you saw. If a plan you saw no longer exists, we’ll offer you a plan with at least the same allowance at no more than its founding price.
- What it doesn’t include
- Prices are in US dollars and don’t include taxes (such as sales tax or GST). Ad spend for tests is paid by you directly to the ad platform.
Nothing is charged now, and you don’t need a card. Ticking “I’d pay the founding price” in step two is a signal of interest, not an order. The paid service will have its own terms, including billing, renewal and cancellation, shown before you pay. This founding-price promise carries over into them.
Points, position and referrals
Your position on the waitlist comes from points. Ties go to whoever joined first.
- +10 for each step-two answer (store link, what you sell, ad spend, how you make ads, where you run them, your first idea).
- +25 if you say you’d pay the founding price.
- +30 for each brand that joins with your link and saves step two, for up to 5 brands.
Points only decide the order of invites. They have no cash value, aren’t a prize, can’t be sold, swapped or transferred, and don’t need a purchase. There is no draw and no element of chance.
Share your link only with people who’d want it, and not by bulk email, text messages or spam. If you post it publicly, say that you move up when people join with it (for example: “I move up the Solse waitlist if you join with my link”).
Points from fake, duplicate or automated sign-ups, or from any other trick, don’t count, and we may remove them or the entry. We may change the points, or end the programme, at any time; points already earned stay on your entry until we tell you otherwise.
Sample content
The brands on this site (LOUD, Drowsy, Zest. and nuit.) are fictional. Their product photos and ads were made with AI image models, and the numbers in the examples, charts and test results are sample data, not results from real customers. They show how Mona and Luce are meant to work; they aren’t a promise of any particular result.
Mona and Luce are still being built
What the site says about Mona and Luce describes how we plan them to work at launch. Features, limits, allowances and timing may change before then, and some may arrive later or not at all. Don’t rely on a feature being there until you can see it in your account before you pay.
What you send us
What you type into the waitlist or the contact form stays yours. You let us use it to run the waitlist, answer you and plan the products, as the Privacy page describes. Don’t send us anything confidential, or anything you don’t have the right to share.
Our content
The site’s design, words, code, the names Solse, Mona and Luce, and their marks are ours (or used with permission, like the fonts). You may look at and share links to the site, but not copy it, or use our names or marks in a way that suggests we endorse you.
Using the site properly
Please don’t:
- sign up with someone else’s email, or with fake or automated entries;
- try to get around the spam limits, or to break, overload or probe the site or its database;
- scrape the site in bulk, or use its content to train AI models;
- send anything unlawful, abusive or harmful through the forms.
No promises about the site
The site and the waitlist are free and provided “as is”. We try to keep them working and accurate, but we don’t promise they’ll always be available, error-free or up to date.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows: we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, revenue, business or data) arising from the site or the waitlist, and our total liability to you for anything to do with them is limited to US$100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as for fraud, or takes away rights you have under laws that can’t be changed by contract.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute about them, or about the site or the waitlist, goes to the courts of India, which have exclusive jurisdiction. Before going to court, please write to us through the contact form so we can try to sort it out.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the new version applies from then on. A change never takes away a founding price you’ve already been shown.
We may suspend or close the site or the waitlist at any time. If we close the waitlist without launching, we’ll delete the data as the Privacy page says.
If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part straight away doesn’t mean we give it up. These terms, with the Privacy page, are the whole agreement about the site and the waitlist.
